Weekly R.E.P.O.R.T. - February 7
READING:
This week I read the latest Freida McFadden book Dear Debbie. If you have seen John Water’s film Serial Mom, I feel like you will really enjoy this book. I ended up flying through it (partly because I got it from the libray and know that others were waiting for it) and gave it 4 out of 5 stars on Fable and GoodReads. I started Freida McFadden’s The Intruder near the end of the week.
EATING:
Movie theater chicken tenders with Mike’s Hot Honey
PLAYING:
Othello the board game. This 8x8 grid strategy game is for two players and it is one of those games that you never know who is going to win until the very end.
OBSESSING:
Watching things on a big screen. I have been using my wall projector a lot lately and it has been so fun to feel like I am at the movies without having to leave the comfort of my own home (and being able to pause anytime I need to!)
RECOMMENDING:
This is a local recommendation but I absolutely LOVE the new coffeeshop that opened in Woodstock! Wheelhouse is a combination of everything I love with exposed brick walls, local artists work for sale and of course amazing lattes? YES PLEASE. If you are ever in Woodstock, this is a major recommend. If you are looking for an additional excuse to visit Woodstock, it is where they filmed the 1993 film Groundhog’s Day with Bill Murray and Andie MacDowell.
TREATING:
I am treating myself to Thou Art Momo’s latest drop! I was able to snag the paint palette earrings and necklace and the framed butterfly earrings. I absolutely love her work and am so excited to add some of the jewelry to my collection!
